Electrical Troubleshooting Service (Fault Diagnosis Only)
Scope of Service
This service is strictly limited to identifying the source and root cause of electrical faults within the existing electrical installation. The scope includes inspection, testing, fault tracing, and professional diagnosis only. No repair work, replacement of components, or installation of new materials is included under this service.
Scope of Work
- Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the existing electrical installation.
- Perform systematic troubleshooting to identify the source and root cause of electrical faults.
- Trace faulty electrical circuits and locate the point of failure.
- Diagnose issues related to short circuits, earth leakage, open circuits, overload conditions, voltage drop, and unstable power supply.
- Inspect the condition of distribution boards (DB), circuit breakers, wiring, switches, socket outlets, and electrical connections.
- Check for loose terminals, overheating, signs of arcing, damaged insulation, or burnt wiring.
- Test circuit continuity, insulation resistance, voltage, current, polarity, and earthing where applicable.
- Identify defective electrical components that may be causing system malfunction.
- Determine the probable cause of the electrical failure based on inspection findings and test results.
- Provide professional recommendations for corrective actions and necessary repairs.
Exclusions
- Repair of any electrical fault.
- Replacement of damaged or defective components.
- Supply of electrical materials or spare parts.
- Rewiring or installation of new electrical wiring.
- Modification or upgrading of the existing electrical system.
- Civil works, ceiling removal, wall hacking, reinstatement, or finishing works.
- Any additional work beyond fault diagnosis and inspection.

- Identification of the root cause of the electrical fault.
- Professional assessment of the existing electrical condition.
- Recommendations for the required repair or replacement works (if necessary).
